Since graduating from Central Saint Martin’s College (2010) in London, U.K, with an M.F.A. Jamie Bradbury, has been engaged in a multi-disciplinary practice in the fields of visual arts, music, and independent research-creation. He has participated in conferences at universities such as McGill, Concordia, NSCAD, and Oxford University exploring, the power relationships continually played out through forms of representation. His written work has been published in journals such as Inter-disciplinary Press’ Whiteness Interrogated, whilst his visual artworks have been exhibited throughout North America, and Europe in Art fairs such as Arte Fiera, Santorini Biennale, AACDD Festival London, Art Toronto, and AQUA Miami. He has also appeared in a number of publications and media such as Canadian Art, Voir Magazine, CBC news, and Garageland. He first came to National prominence in Canada, as a participant on the T.V programme Star Portraits. His works are held in private and public collections such as the Portrait Gallery of Canada, Debbie Moore M.B.E, and the ALDO collection. Jamie was recently shortlisted for the Salt Spring National Art Prize, and in 2018, he participated for the third time with the Mikwchiyam art residency programme in Northern Quebec.
